WINDOWS 7 RUNS BETTER ON A MAC?!?

This is a boot test of Mac OSX Snow Leopard vs. Windows 7. Both Operating systems were freshly installed yesterday. Mac vs PC? You decide.

I have a 5 year old pc running windows 7 it takes 15 seconds to boot up and runs smooth and great with a intel Pentium D 920 and 1Gb of RAM

Every pc i have, i put virus protection on and still fight to keep it virus free, i have had my mac since 2006 with zero virus protection, And it runs just as good as it did when i opened it. I use it for all my web browsing to high risk websites to low. Its not propaganda, just because you dont have one doesnt mean you have to knock it. I have owned PCs long then Macs I dont care what anyone else thinks really, I dont root for Mac over PC, I just use them when I need them. PC is easily bet

@nawwashere That's just fan boy propaganda, just like the notion that Mac are also immune to viruses.

TRUTH: Mac only make up 10% of the worldwide computer users (most in the professional market, who won't be visiting virus infested websites), so viruses programmers feel it's a waste of their time.

@nawwashere You'd be surprised how many people know of Linux, it's quite a large demographic. Also Windows 7 is just as stable as OSX, if not more. I've seen Macs crap out and crash plenty of times, which if you're doing things right and not installing every fucking toolbar you come across like a 7 year old would, barely happens on Windows 7.

@vgking699 Depending on what graphics card it has it should be in the range of 500-700€ for a normal nongaming laptop. How much did yours cost? And how much of that was the RAM upgrade?

2GB of RAM should be about 20€

@Cooldog74 Most Windows users don't even know what Linux is. One advantage Mac has (as opposed to windows) is that it is more stable and therefore more reliable if performing or doing something live.

@eventfularse My intention was not to say that they were too poor... Although I do see how you could misunderstand it. I just want to get one thing straight though: I'm not an OSX fanboy - I use Linux, and I'd rather sodomize myself with a taser than use Mac.
