@qlight Ah, thanks, now I understand. That is cool!

@misterkami2 It is called the island of southern Finland (Etelä-Suomen saari). There is a lake called Vesijako between Lahti and Tampere, which flows both to Kymi river and Kokemäki river. Kymi flows to the Baltic sea at Kotka, Kokemäki at Pori. See wikipedia Vesijako.

BLAME canada!

@TheSlinkyGuyShow I don't think I've ever heard one say it, actually. It's a very British word. Or seems so, at least.
-
@j0gan673 Yeah I understand if you don't like it. Like, I don't like the way Americans pronounce the word "Twat".
-
@TheSlinkyGuyShow I spose. But after so many months of it, sometimes you just snap...
-
@j0gan673 Not exactly, I just laugh at their mistake regardless and move on. I think, you know, if they think that's funny then I won't spoil it for them, let them laugh!
-
@TheSlinkyGuyShow I know where you're coming from, but at the same time, doesn't it annoy you that people are finding something amusing just because they don't understand it?
-
@j0gan673 Some people are better off not knowing what it actually means because for THEM it spoils the humour to know the actual meaning because it becomes unfunny to them. People have different preferences, in fact most people probably recognise "inception" as a different meaning to yours, that's why they say it. You just need to let them use it. I apologise for calling you a dick, but that's the way it goes, really. =]

@TheSlinkyGuyShow Look, I am all for people having fun. It just pisses me off when people do it in an idiotic way, like using a word completely incorrectly. It's like when people misuse irony to mean coincidence. It completely spoils the humour when it's wrong.

As a Canadian, I get excited when people I respect talk about Canada. I think it's awesome that Alan knows so much about Canadian lakes.
