http://www.euronews.net/ With a constant drumbeat filling the air in Gaza, Hamas was on hand to welcome the first of the released Palestinian prisoners with open arms.

Of the 447 freed today, Gaza gets the lion's share, with nearly 300, over half of which have been exiled there.

Another 40 are exiled abroad, with the rest going to the West Bank and east Jerusalem.

Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was mobbed; hugging prisoners and being embraced in turn.

  • look at the fat palestinian assholes and look at shalit.

next time no prison for terrorists.

  • @VerificatorX - It is a legitimate state (except, of course, it's illegitimate presence in the West Bank and Golan Heights). I don't dispute the State's existence. I do have an issue with the fact that it has tried hard to prevent a Palestinian state coming into being. And yes, it has a right to defend itself, but then so do the Palestinians. The Israeli State is not poor victim.

  • 1000 to 1 exchange rate. Sounds about right.....

  • @Pommit Get your facts right!!! The definition of terrorism is to use violence to gain political or religious advantage! Do the IDF use israelies as human shields? Do the IDF kidnap palestinian terroists to try and intimidate palestinains to realease israeli prisoners? Do the IDF send bombs to Gaza because they feel like it? Gilad Shalit did not join the IDF, he was forced to because of conscription because Palestinains can never be trusted as they are violent!

  • @Pommit

israel doesnt attack palestine. look at the west bank..there are no missiles or rockets coming from there and israel doesnt attack. it is different with gaza. they kill israeli civilians and then winge when israel retaliates.

  • @VerificatorX - Not saying they did. I am talking about your comment on Israel having the right to defend itself. Palestine has that right to do so. Yet it has been Israel that ended the ceasefires that have been agreed.

  • @Pommit

the palestinians did not defend themselves by kidnapping gilad shalit. they used him as a pawn to free over a 1000 of murderers, hooligans and terrorists.

  • @Pommit

israel is a legitimate state and has the right to defend itself.

the rest of your post is only your personal opinion, blablabla

  • if moslem commited a crime he shoulв be executed

  • @VerificatorX - But he is part of a terrorist organisation - the Israeli state. In being a part of the army, he is a tool of that state. Though he is just an individual who made the mistake of joining the Israeli Army. It isn't outrageous in the least that he was captured. Besides, are all these Palestinians terrorists? Israel has held a lot of Palestinians in custody with recourse to legalities. I don't know if these men are definitely terrorists.

  • @Pommit

gilad shalit was not a terrorist.
