@Pommit Get your facts right!!! The definition of terrorism is to use violence to gain political or religious advantage! Do the IDF use israelies as human shields? Do the IDF kidnap palestinian terroists to try and intimidate palestinains to realease israeli prisoners? Do the IDF send bombs to Gaza because they feel like it? Gilad Shalit did not join the IDF, he was forced to because of conscription because Palestinains can never be trusted as they are violent!

israel doesnt attack palestine. look at the west bank..there are no missiles or rockets coming from there and israel doesnt attack. it is different with gaza. they kill israeli civilians and then winge when israel retaliates.
-
@VerificatorX - Not saying they did. I am talking about your comment on Israel having the right to defend itself. Palestine has that right to do so. Yet it has been Israel that ended the ceasefires that have been agreed.

the palestinians did not defend themselves by kidnapping gilad shalit. they used him as a pawn to free over a 1000 of murderers, hooligans and terrorists.
-
israel is a legitimate state and has the right to defend itself.
the rest of your post is only your personal opinion, blablabla

@VerificatorX - But he is part of a terrorist organisation - the Israeli state. In being a part of the army, he is a tool of that state. Though he is just an individual who made the mistake of joining the Israeli Army. It isn't outrageous in the least that he was captured. Besides, are all these Palestinians terrorists? Israel has held a lot of Palestinians in custody with recourse to legalities. I don't know if these men are definitely terrorists.

gilad shalit was not a terrorist.
look at the fat palestinian assholes and look at shalit.
next time no prison for terrorists.

@VerificatorX - It is a legitimate state (except, of course, it's illegitimate presence in the West Bank and Golan Heights). I don't dispute the State's existence. I do have an issue with the fact that it has tried hard to prevent a Palestinian state coming into being. And yes, it has a right to defend itself, but then so do the Palestinians. The Israeli State is not poor victim.
