UPDATE.

Sorry for the long wait guys. Here is my updated video of my system. its a 33 gallon tank split into 3 sections to house 3 different pairs of clownfish, another 33 gallon tank split into 2 to house 2 of the larger species clownfish and a 30 gallon sump all connected together for a total of about 80 gallons. I made this video a while ago, just didnt get a chance to upload it so a lot has changed since then. i will make another updated video shortly. Stay tuned!

  • I'm interested in doing this. I was wondering one thing though. Is this just for fun or will it pay for itself?

  • @greendaybulldog2 just for fun, you mite be able to help ur hobby but its hard

  • Hi, I really like the tank set up for this video. How did you cut the glass to connect the pvc pipes and what are the black connector pieces that hold it to the glass? Also i believe I sent you a message with another question in regards to sales, but I don't know if you received it. Any advice or knowledge would be appreciated.

    thanks

  • @WhiptailWallaby2 hi i had someone help me drill the tanks, the black connector piece is called a bulkhead and u can get it at ur lfs

  • nice videos, my maroon clowns spawn all the time but the eggs decepere i dont know where they go. i dont realy have any extra tanks i have a 150 gallon, can you please help i really would like to have some baby maroon clowns.

  • @millo1143 the eggs probably hatched. when they are laid they are a orangey red color and when they turn silvery around the 8th day they will hatch. you will need a small tank to raise the fry in a 10 gallon is a good size.

  • Ok thanks I figured that I would need a different light if I wanted corals and I wasn't sure if I didn't want any if I would need a different light anyway but thanks could u do a vid on moving fry to a new tank or acclimating clownfish??

  • @TWhite2345 if its just live rock and clownfish any light will do. if u add corals later on you will need to upgrade your lighting t5ho is good
