@ASTHERADIOPLAYS It is extremely rude to post your videos on someone elses site. If you don'y have something positive to say, don't say anything!

Hi Mel, enjoy your vid's and got a putting question re; straight line putting (yourself) vs arc putting (e.g Shawn Clement). Firstly does your way cause more back strain. Secondly does it work with all putters. Thirdly does it work with all distances and Finally is there any advantages to arc putting.
Thanks
James

There's a way to avoid this problem. Face the hole and putt with one hand. The putter will follow a straight line to the hole. It also allows you to focus on the target instead of the ball. Would you look at the trigger when trying to shoot a gun?
To see how this works search for my video at "one handed Putting"

@jaxfl2 If you have a new putting style start your own site. It is extremely ruse to post your videos on someone elses site. If you don't have naything positive to say, don't say anything!

Hi James,
I don't think one style would case more back strain than the other. Bending over is going to cause some type of back strain (unless you use the long putter)
Yes, I would say it works with all normal putters. Again, if using the long putter or belly putter I think it would be more of an arc.
I strainght line putting works for putts up to about 10 feet. After that the putter will naturall start to arc, but that would be long after you have hit the ball.
Regards,
Mel.
