I suspect it's a cost-cutting measure. A Q costs about 2 Grand compared to $200-300 for a good electronic. 20's Q's are the best sounding Q's in U.D. I have to agree they all have good winddowns (WHEN they use them).

OMG NO! unless theyre not telling the rest of the company there WILL be a q on the new engine and we will have 2 100 watt electronics ( like on the ladder ). i think i would quit if there wasnt a Q on a firetruck especially the Q's of 20 which all are the best sounding qs around

I heard the Attacker they're specing out now won't even have a Q on it, just an electronic. Hard to beleive.
