Middle Fork of the Salmon River Idaho- May 2010

The Middle Fork of the Salmon River was done from Marsh Creek to Cache Bar-113 miles and 3,200 foot elevation drop. Twelve wild, fun folks from Oregon, Chicago & Alaska paddled 5 rafts & 6 kayaks down the River of No Return, Middle Fork of the Salmon through one of the deepest canyons in North America. I was awestruck at the drop in elevation (100 to 30 ft./mile) and continuous whitewater kept us alert and rowing almost continually.
