  • This really brings back memories, when I was a child, I rode the southern with my parents whereever we went. Dad and my Grandad worked for the southern, little did I know then, how much I would miss the smell of creosote, diesel smell, and the rocking motion would rock you to sleep, only to wake up to smell the food from the dining car..........

  • @MrJuliebugs ...and that strange little enclosed area with all the shifting, rocking, and noise when you walk between cars. Nothing like traveling by train!
