Why does God have to have his son killed before he can forgive human sins? Why not just forgive those who truly repent and ask for forgiveness? Most people have not done really terrible things in their life that it requires the death of anyone before they can be forgiven. Most humans have never killed or lived criminal lives. Most sins are minor..small lies and weakness-not big deal. Repenting and asking forgiveness should suffice because is merciful.

@TheSevenmind Brother, death came as a result of Adam and Eve's sin. God had a wonderful and awesome plan for humans. However, people chose curse and death when the devil deceived Eve on the garden. That's why Jesus has to come to this world so we may have eternal life though Him. As a result of Adam's sin, humans are incapable of entering heaven on their own.
