As a teacher and a mother of an LD Child, I am very sad to hear many of the comments so far. It is said that our most famous creative thinkers, like Einstein for one had learning disabilities. Can you imagine what our world would be like without these brilliant people and their contributions?!? I never would have dreamed of NOT bringing him into this world!

I have LD... and it sucks! I get made fun of because of the way i learn, how i dont know half of the things the other kids know.. How badly i do on the test.. and i can hear the douchebags talking about me saynig "shes so stupid she cant do shit!" I sometimes cry to myself because i get made fun of so much... But i got friends with LD too and thats something we can relate to :)

I hate people who discriminate against disabilities! People don't seem to understand that we are talented people too. And may I just point out that having a learning disability doesn't mean that you learn slower, it means you learn differently. If these disabilities aren't catered for than you will find it hard to keep up with your class mates in certain things. Also I've discovered going through life that people with the highest marks aren't necessarily the smartest people you'll ever meet.

I have LD its hard to read so I use tapes but its so hard math is the worst numbers make no since to me i see them as just numbers nothing special

@cloud8762 I have LD too. It dosent mean that your stupid or anything it just means that you learn differently. Walt Disney had LD and he created Mickey Mouse and had his own amusment park built.
