I went to one in Montreal with a large group of people. It was a lot of fun and the food was great. Halfway through the meal, I discovered some interesting things: the person that I thought was sitting across from me was actually diagonally to the left of me (around the corner of the table), and my plate was a lot bigger than i thought.
this is totally not for me. I'm a picky eater because of "texture".. many textures almost immediately make me gag.. I bite into meat and hit some rubber fat or gristle. I gag.. I cant stand tomotoes because they are essentially giant puss balls... Kudos for the "sight-impaired" workers tho.
There is a restaurant like that in Hamburg, Germany called "Dinner in the Dark", appropriately enough. It's part of an exhibition where you get confronted with sensations for the remaining 4 senses in pitch black darkness. I had no chance to go during my short business trip but I hope I can find something similar here in Maine. It must be a great experience gathering from what you said.
They must save a fortune on cleaning.

This sounds amazing. You guys should do this on TRS. If you can't record audio in the restaurant, maybe try it at one of your homes.

You're very trusting. They could have fed you anything! Man, I won't even eat in dim light. Way to be adventurous!
