  • This is a great movie but I absolutely HATE the ending!

  • what trade software are they using on their computers?

  • I'll be honest, I watched this, but I was lost. I can't say it's good or bad.

  • What constitutes a "fair trade"? If some information is hidden

(rats in the cellar).... The point is an asset such as a house is

worth what to you, or to another is dependent not only a set of

facts about that house, but also on things like "personal taste"...

Would you sell something worth X dollars to you, for Y dollars to

somebody else (Y>X)? Is that fair? Value > Price paid = Price

sold for > Cost of acquiring. Is that fair? ... That said, this movie

    trailer looks historically accurate.

  • But some paper claims are not claims on say T-Bills or mortgages,

but real assets, such as factories. How much is that candy factory

really worth, given that it is difficult to predict how much candy

can be manufactured or sold in a given decade... Mortgages... In

the face of high unemployment, loans made to drug addicts, and

so forth... Those mortgage back securities were worth... zero, with

certainty?? They could yet turn their lives around, find employment...

  • "You're selling something you know has no value"...

I guess everybody thinks he knows the value of what he is buying,

or selling. Price is not the same as value. But in this case, since

prices and values are denominated in dollars, and the paper claims

involve claims on money (financial obligations), the value of zero or

less seems absolute. Although, some companies might like to show a

loss for income tax purposes. Hence, that asset might yet have value.

  • Ordered it from Netflix

  • "The Bear and the Bow"

  • @the0amazing0joe he is a good guy now

  • Why is Sylar suddenly into Wallstreet??
