This was apparently Vee's "swan song," but it was also one of his best. Whatever happened to Vee?  Is he still alive and actively performing? Please advise if you know.

I was in 5th grade and had a crush on this girl. We had a party 1 day before we took of for the Christmas holidays. My teacher played this record. I remember starring across the room amased at how pretty she was. I will never forget that day and this song. AWESOME! I ran across her at a store 4 month ago. She was still pretty and happly married with 3 kids. We said hi, i asked her about that day. She said she remembered. It's funny how different songs takes us too different times of our lives.

@wc2k6 You sound about my age~yesterday I woke up with it in my mind. This has also been on my mind all day too! This morning I woke up with TWO songs: "La La La" by the Delfonics, and I right now can't remember the other one, because I'm STILL singing this one!! Man~this was good music from the 60's through the 80"s to me. The music (if you want to call it that), today is horrendous if you can tolerate it! I don't but this was good music!! God Bless you!!
