@212121ryan its just that, that specific tv model is only for them meaning they dont have to sell it at the rrp. I wanted to buy it but panasonic have a offer for 5 years free warranty which i went for and got the 50GT30B for under 1000£

@212121ryan its £450 at amazon..however the ST31B model seems to be black while ST30B is dark grey (uglier)..

Great review! Thanks very much. Ive just bought a TX-P42ST31B from Comet for £499. Its a fantastic tv for that price. I think they just changed the model number from 30B to 31B as a marketing ploy, to stand out from other price comparisons and offer the best price. The two tv's are Identical in both look and spec.
