I am in the same boat. Did know of her years ago and I sorta lost track of her and some of my earlier favorites. She was indeed talented. Her band is GROOVY. Amy was a natural show woman. AMY had more game than many 3x's her age. She was frightening. So sad she lost her way and could not find her way back. It would interest me to know how she discovered her presentation.

Im really enjoying discovering Amy WInehouse now; but, if im completely honest; it was the coverage surrounding her passing, the praise of her talents that led me here. Im not to sure how to feel about that, all I can say is that the further I delve into her music, the more I understand the tragedy of her early passing.

No matter what, Amy's the best! I LOVE when she says "That's why I'm a inpatient" LOL! I almost cried when she sighs when she's talking about meeting Ade when she was 16 yrs old. You can tell by that sigh she wished she could go back to being 16 again.
