5:22PM. Amtrak Capitol Corridor 543 passes by the seasonal (obviously) Christmas tree in Jack London Square

5:26PM. Next to pass the tree is Amtrak San Joaquin 718 coming from the yard to pick up passengers, turn around, and head for Bakersfield

5:49PM. Now holding passenger, San Joaquin 718 heads north through the square towards Bakersfield.

5:53PM. A 30 minute late northbound Amtrak 542 passes through the north end of Jack London Square. This train was having mechanical problems in the Fremont Area.

6:05PM. A Northbound power move from Milpitas to Benicia (EMIBEM) make its way along the streets of the square.
UP 4922 North

7:09PM. Northbound Capitol Corridor 544 pushes towards Sacramento with a not so desirable K5LA.

7:11PM. Amtrak San Joaquin 715 crosses Martin Luther King Jr Blvd and Clay St before entering into Jack London Square.

7:24PM. Amtrak Capitol Corridor 547 approaches Oakland Jack London Square with a stellar K5LA to make it all the more better.

7:28PM. Amtrak San Joaquin 715 returns to the Coach Yard with the one and only P5 horn on the Amtrak California Cabcar roster.

8:26PM. Capitol Corridor 549 pulls in for its final stop before heading back to Sacramento as Amtrak 548.

8:37PM. Amtrak Capitol Corridor 546 leaves Oakland Jack London Square Station with an amazing K5LA and an engineer who really know how to honk it!

9:24PM. The old Amtrak 549 rolls through Jack London Square as Amtrak 548 now.

9:29PM. Amtrak Capitol Corridor 551 diverges at CP King before entering Jack London Square.

9:40PM. After unloading passengers, Capitol Corridor 551 heads back to the yard to be serviced and ready to go tomorrow.

9:45PM. Amtrak's Northbound Coast Starlight 14 passes across Clay St at the nort end of Jack London on its way to Seattle.

1:26PM. Amtrak San Joaquin 716 highballs Emeryville while an Oakland bound BNSF goes through the crossings.

1:29PM. The same Oakland bound BNSF train (Q ALTOIG3 07A) now crawls by the Emeryville Amtrak Station on RD1.

1:54PM. Capitol Corridor 737 slows down for its next stop of Emeryville on its way to San Jose.

1:57PM. As Amtrak 737 is departing (was not happy with my shot of it highballing), the UP EOZOZ passes by with two HLCX units and a bunch of GP's.

2:04PM. Capitol Corridor 734 knocks down a clear signal at CP East Emeryville.

2:36PM. A small UP Local flies by the platform towards the East Oakland Yard.

2:44PM. A UP Extra Intermodal train from Cheyenne, WY to Oakland (ICYOAX) creeps down RD2 towards the yard.

2:57PM. Shortly after comes a UP Power move bound for Benicia (EMIBEM).

3:31PM. Amtrak's Eastbound California Zephyr 5 diverges at CP East Emeryville onto the inside track almost 40 minutes early.

3:54PM. Capitol Corridor 741 departs Emeryville with a nice K5LA!

4:03PM. Amtrak San Joaquin 713 departs Emeryville nearing the end of its journey at Oakland Jack London Square.

Awesome shots Kyle! It's good to see AMTK 94 back here after almost a year's absence! The last time I saw 94 here was when I caught her on the San Joaquins in Merced back in January!
