  • Mick Box on guitar

  • @BY119ROCK The Party Boys started in 1992 and toured round various venues in Scotland, including Ayr,Greenock,Perth,Glasgow and Dunfermline .

Tommy Eyre was never on keyboards,at the beginning Ronnie Leahy (ex Stone The Crows and session musician for Jon Anderson and John Martyn) played keyboards until Ted,Chris and Zal persuaded Hugh McKenna to take over.

  • One thing about Ian - he could always put a new band together lol.

  • Love the Mr. Universe album - sort of bluesy as well as rock . . . .

  • @bigcumba Sorry, i got wrong, i though it was with a "D". My apologize

  • @hugitoviana, no it isn't actually, if you check any atlas, including my National Geographic one, you'll find Puget Sound and the track on the Mr Universe album has the same spelling.. sorry to be pedantic but sometimes you have to set things straight!

  • @nadnathan

hahahahahahah, this is me, old account, I agree>>>>:)))))

    And great song!!!!

  • @bigcumba Cheers for the info and for confirming that.

  • @DCHurlford1 - used to bump into Ted's dad on the train from Glasgow back to Airdrie after a gig or night out.. yes they are from Coatbridge.

  • @DCHurlford1 Tommy plays this gig instead of Hugh on this exact CD - whole show. They do Jumpin Jack Flash there too. There was the band called The Party Boys (just sessions, mid 90s-) - Zal, Chris, Ted and Mr Eyre too. Steve Doherty was doing vocals - not of my choice, but not bad - a sort of heavy Uriah Heep or Gravy Train (hard rock, the old one, not recent modern sh*te having same name). So you got a lot of things to do, enjoy:)
