Minecraft - Advanced Automatic Wheat Harvesting System

In this video I show off my new greenhouse and demonstrate my Advanced Automatic Wheat Harvesting System and its features. What makes it "Advanced" is that its the first automatic wheat harvesting system that features the ability to turn the flow of water not only on, but off--without the use of mods. In other words, Flood Gates!

This is made possible due to a remarkable contraption designed by Zomb13 in the Minecraft forums, which I have implemented into my design and give a tour of in the second half of my video. Credit goes to him, visit his thread and show him your support for his amazing work.

As well as the addition of this water gate, I have outfitted my automatic greenhouse with a low-profile transportation system to send wheat and items to and from my base with no hassle, as well as indicator and warning lights, a custom designed domed glass ceiling, and classy wood paneling (which ironically make my greenhouse anything but "green" in eco-friendly terms, but it looks so good!)

I am debating making a tutorial video showing how to make Zomb13's water gate, as well as my greenhouse--as long as I get enough interest. If you would like to see that make sure to leave a comment and Like/subscribe so I can know. If I get enough requests and views to have it worth making I'll work on creating a more in depth how-to.

I plan on adding glowstone suspended from the ceiling for 24/hr crop growing, and raising the height of the stone slabs to prevent wheat from landing on the walkways. And yes, I know I get no seeds from this *cry* All we need to do now is find a way to automatically collect new seeds and replant!

Minecraft Developer Jens Bergensten has stated he wants farms such as mine to drop seeds!

"I'm a bit tired now, but it would be fun if the automated harvesting also dropped seeds... Maybe do that tomorrow!" So No More Seed Comments please (hopeless request as it is, I know)

Wow, you guys are amazing! I never thought this would be so liked. You blew my hopes right out of the water with one heck of a huge TNT cannon :)!! I'm starting work on Tutorials for this ASAP--May take a little while, but stay tuned until then and THANK YOU everyone who showed support, it means a lot.

The areas which are not planted with the wheat, could be ice so the wheat will "flow"
