If you find it hard to hold your arm up, you can use an ironing board or table for support while you perform the two motions.

This is ONE way to perform median nerve gliding. There are other ways and variations to perform the exercise as well.

  • does this help reposition the ulnar nerve? over the past few months my ulnar nerve seems to have gotten closer to my elbow causing needle pricks to my palm and sensitivity where near my elbow is and underarm. i notice during certain arm movements that the ulnar nerve glides or moves causing sensititivy....does this exercise move it back to its original position? i think i started having this issue after working out/lifting weights..

  • Thanks!
