yes it was reallly needed. it DO YOU KNOW HOW RARE IT IS TO ACTUALLY FIND PROOF OF WHAT PEOPLE ARE PUTTING DOWN IN A STOCK 1JZ?? everyone has mods......EVERYONE. exhaust or CAI or a boost controller this is a greatly appreciated video by those of US with 1JZs. dont like it? dont watch

It's called a base line dyno test. Totally necessary IMO, and probably any other self-respecting car enthusiast.

is this a supra engine or the original engine?? im wondering if the 2jz engine on the supra is different than the lexus sc300 .. some one hit me up

@peacebomber8; The non-turbo 2jz of the supra, SC300 and GS300 are basically the same engine. The 2jz-gte have the twin Turbo and exclusive to the US supra, JP Supra and JP GS. That engine will fit in both the US SC and GS. The 1jz I have comes from the Japanese version of the SC and is also plug and play in the SC. It did not make it to the US.

What tranny are you running? Nice car. I have the same setup but with an Auto tranny.

Running 5 speed W58, everyone say it's the weakest for the 3 available for the model. Most go for the R154 and if you have the money 6spd V160. For now, until chunks it's guts I am staying with this one.

No Offense taken, No I didn't need to dyno the vehicle, but I just purchased it and took it to my mechanic. He checked everything including dyno testing it plus wanted a baseline before I install the twin intakes, AFC, and BC controller, FMIC and other goodies. It's in the shop being painted now. Stay tuned for more.
