Looking out of the windows of this home onto the marsh is like looking at an oil painting changing subtly throughout the days and seasons. Spartina grass, pluff mud, and tidal marsh bring birds of every variety to your view, including herons, osprey, and on special occasions, bald eagles. Dolphin swim up this tidal creek daily and it is not uncommon to see them chasing fish onto the creek banks for a dolphin buffet in the early mornings or late afternoons. The shared dock allows for close-to-nature experiences, crabbing, and access for hand-launched johnboats or kayaks (not provided). This home's architecture is reminiscent of a mountain lodge with rustic exposed beams, but has all the luxury features one would expect of this distinct island home. There are hardwood floors throughout, Corian countertops, new stainless steel appliances, a wet bar and additional icemaker, a 46-inch plasma television in the living room and televisions in each bedroom, as well as wireless internet. This home has bedding for eight guests, but will allow up to ten.
