If you want a lively base from which to explore our fantastic coast, try Seahouses, a small but bustling harbour town just south of Bamburgh.

Famous for its fantastic fish and chips and as the launching point for boat trips to the Farne Islands, it has a busy main street and a colourful harbour with spectacular views of the Northumberland coast and in the distance the magnificent sight of Bamburgh Castle.
