Campus Conversations # 41- Part 1 of 3

There has been a recent increase in news stories about hate crimes and discrimination on local campuses and across the country. Have these incidents increased? Or is it simply that we and the media are less tolerant of them?

"Campus Conversations" is a 30-minute series that explores a variety of issues, events, and topics of interest to the Montgomery College Community. Montgomery College Staff, Faculty and students met this past fall to discuss these issues and some of them join hosts Steve Simon, director of Communications at MC, and Fritzi Bodenheimer, professor of speech at the Rockville Campus, to discuss this topic on this edition of "Campus Conversations."

Guests include Montgomery College Director of Equity and Diversity, Dr. Michelle T. Scott; student, Bryan Bell; Associate Dean of Humanities, Dr. Rodney Redmond; history professor, Alonzo Smith; and sociology professor, Christiana Tah.
