I think the SC430 is very nice and all......but in the end I went for the MB instead. Both are nice and sexy cars. :-)

UR wrong. Lexus DID NOT have the first retractable hard top. MB did WAY BACK MANY YEARS AGO in the SL/SLK series.

I looked at the SC430 and was going to buy one, but it did not have all the safety features as the MB SLK. Namely SC430 DID NOT HAVE roll over head protection with either the fixed or auto pop up roll bars.

If the SC439 DID HAVE THE ROLL OVER HEAD PROTECTION SYSTEM, then I would have bought one. Instead I bought 2 MB SLK's..one is the AMG SLK55 and the other SLK280.
