Matthew becomes obsessed with Scott Adams' Dilbert cartoon and it causes friction between him and Dave. Everyone but Bill is unhappy about the reviews a local magazine gave the staff for their annual performances.

Matthew is obsessed by Dilbert and quits WNYX, Dave brings in an actor pretending to be Scott Adams(creator of Dilbert)to convince him to come back to work. While the actor playing the guy pretending to be Scott Adams is not Scott Adams, Scott Adams himself appears in in the episode. He is credited at the end of the show as "Guy in line behind Dave and Joe in first scene."

  • Why is Mr James obsessed with Dave's mom??

  • is this before, after or contemporary with the Dilbert cartoon show?

  • Funniest bit of trivia about this ep. is that Dilbert creator, Scott Adams, is actually in line. He's the guy Joe tells to "Save it."

  • Jimmy and Bill are the best(too bad about Phill,he was a great actor)

  • adequcitity.

    it's not a word

    it is now!!!!

  • imo the only time jon's been funny is in that movie where he get's caricatures hitler at a VFW picnic.

  • personally, i think that John Lovitz wasn't funny at all in season 5. It was pretty painfull to watch him most of the time. his character just seemed irrelevant to me..

  • The show really went downhill after he passed. John Lovitz is funny but it just was'nt the same without Phil. :(
