Mizuno MP64 Irons reviewed by Mark Crossfield PGA golf professional AskGolfGuru. The Mizuno MP 64 grain flow forged irons that offer soft feel and bladed appearance. The better players golf club from Mizuno Golf has slim looks and classic design along with amazing feel off the face. With Luke Donald thinking of using this golf club, if you want a great looking, feeling and more of a players iron then the MP64 has to be the club for you.

If a person is a solid iron player and is more confident with a blade, who are you to say what they can use? There is more to the game of golf than just iron play, therefore handicap within reason is irrelevant. I say use whatever club feels good and helps you enjoy the game more. geez.

R3DN3CKgolfer... ignore the nasty comments you received - they're just jealous. How can they POSSIBLY know what your handicap is? If you say it's 5, then it's 5 :) and I applaud you! I've been having golf lessons now for 6 weeks and got my first EVER birdie on Monday. Golf is an amazing sport. Keep going! All the best :) and good luck for the future.

I'd like to try these clubs out at some point. I have an old Arnold Palmer Charger 5-iron (bladed obviously) that I practice with for ball striking purposes, and can hit the ball with it pretty well. I'm curious to see how I'd hit with the MP64's.

I just got my mp 64. was your pitching wedge at 52 degrees also? I usually hit it 125 yards, but when I hit the 64's I was only hitting them 100yards. It also looks a lot more lofted then most manufacturers.

Hi Mark. Great vidz as always! I'm a decent ballstriker, play the mp68's 5- pw and an H4 - 4 iron. Could you comment on the benefits I would get with replacing the 68's with the 64's? Are the forgiveness diffrences present at all in normal play between the two? Or is it, in this bracket of irons, the visuals that convince your mind that one is more forgiving?

Although I am a Titleist fan myself, I don't think comparing Titleist to Mizuno is fair. They aren't nearly as popular in the states as they are internationally. If you look at people on the web,com tour you will see a more widespread equipment base. Besides, pros get their clubs for free from their sponsors and in the states the big companies win all the sponsorship's.

quality over quantity, lots of pros get picked up by bigger companies, who have the resources to do so, mark even says the Taylormade yap yap about this will do this to your game give you the 'x' amount of distance. He likes mizuno so let him have his choice, he does always say 'it how you feel' and make you own choice.... that leads on to others here saying blades are only for low HC, but honestly if you feel good hitting a certain club style...knock yourself out and enjoy what you hit

Titleist CB are much better ! This guy goes on about Mizuno all the time, fact is hardly any pros play Mizuno and if the clubs were so great they would , no matter what!!!. A great tour pro has the money already, so they can choose who to go with, and the majority is Titleist. Went to a tou event saw tons of Titleist equipment, very little mizuno. That speaks more to me than some Mizzy ho spouting off!!
