Britches: His Story, His Campaign

Britches was a baby stump-tailed macaque monkey who was liberated from cruel laboratory abuse in 1985 by the Animal Liberation Front. His story has touched a lot of hearts and in his honour a campaign has been launched to raise funds so that wild caught primates currently suffering abuse can receive the help they deserve and be rehabilitated into safety. Can you change the music?It's pathetic...This is a very serious thing & having dumb & annoying music like this is so dumb... If you had no choice why couldn't you just put no music on this vid???

This is so sad...I'm joining the animal liberation front, I don't care if in the end it costs me my life...I'd have my own life taken to save these innocent animals...I'm so extremely ashamed to be a human...

@DavinaFaerie The music was originally a very emotive song by Morrissey but YouTube removed it for copyright reasons and it was replaced by this. I guess if you don't like the music that goes with some videos you can just turn off your sound?

@britches1985 True, I'm really sorry for that stupid comment...I was in an angry mood when I wrote that first bit 'cause I had seen to much sadness in re. to animal abuse on youtube...

I just love animals, they are our babies & we have to treat them in this way...Not in the way that some people who have extremely low IQ's do...(even if they are professors-they still are lacking intelligence, emotional, non-psychotic intelligence that is) ...

@britches1985 Why should we be told to turn the volumne off, when all we want is to hear the story of the vid? Yes, I know, Comment Pending Approval, gee what a surprise. If all you wanted was back slapping comments, than say so in the description! Ppl are getting fed up with all this music covering up serious concerns on vids! And don't forget to Block me like other ego maniacs do.

@JaniceParton Wow, what an aggressive comment. Just to be clear, this is NOT a video with sound, it is a slideshow we created to highlight the Britches Campaign. No sound has been covered up because there was no sound! If you look through our other videos you will find the actual video story of Britches complete with original sound!

@JaniceParton And by the way, I have comments pending approval because I receive seriously sick, violent and disturbing comments about monkeys on a routine basis which I don't wish to give the twisted posters the pleasure of seeing allowed through automatically. Nothing to do with requiring back slapping!

I guess when I get fired up about animal abuse every little thing annoys me-in this case the music didn't help (which is completely stupid I know,lol)...

I just hate the way humans are, it really disgusts me how un-evolved most of us are as a race still...Alf & similar organizations are the exception to the rule...They are such amazingly beautiful people & it makes me so sad that the whole world doesn't think the same as ALF
