This is my video review for the eZee conversion kit I purchased from www.ebikes.ca. Very well designed and built kit and easy to install. This is in my opinion the best option for those considering an ebike and rather than buy a prebuilt scooter looking thing I highly recommend to get a good bike and this kit and do the conversion, you will be much happier with the results.

  • very nice upgrade on all your component just a quick question i wanna upgrade my brake to disc brake is it hard to do i could see that you made your own bracket and what not thx

  • @drunkenp0t If you want to convert to disc brakes you need to see if your bike's frame supports disc brakes. the mounts for the calipers need to be present on the frame or you won't have a way to attach the brake to the bike.

  • @someguy74656 i know about that part where your bike need the attachment screw hole but it doesn't seem like your have it either seem like you modify the attachment and bracket outta some car part like the hose tightener so did you modify that or not thx

  • @drunkenp0t My bike had the proper mounting points already. What you're seeing is the torque arm. That's there in case the axle tries to spin in place so it doesn't destroy the forks. If your bike has the mounts for disc brakes all you should need are the brake calipers, rotors, and wheels that have rotor mounts on them. May need longer brake cables as well.

  • @someguy74656 o i c ok thanks for the heads up nope my bike doesn't have the disc brake mounting and i know it cost a lot to get all the stuff to convert it to disc brake well do you even need disc brake on your bike if you have a motor i figure i'll need it for more stopping power to be safe but if it not necessary it's fine with me thx

  • @drunkenp0t Disc brakes are nice to have, but you can probably get by with the regular ones. Discs are better suited for wet conditions, rubber brakes slip a lot more when they're wet. I converted my bike to discs a long time ago, at least 4-5 years, and all the parts was around $200 so it wasn't too bad. That was for the wheels, rotors, calipers, brake cables, and brake levers as well. If you think you definitely want disc brakes in the future, might as well look at a bike that comes with them.

  • @rogerL1961 for the love did you not watch the video it read 39.7 volts right on the lcd screen pay attention

  • What size motor is this. What is the voltage you are running?

  • Super cool looking bike. I couldn't think of a much nicer frame to attach this too!! :-)

  • @someguy74656 yeah i would buy a new bike that come with disc brake but i already bought too much stuff for my bike that i already have i know the disc brake kits alone isn't much but what's gonna kill me is the new front fork that compatibly with disc brake alone they are couple of hundred and the wheel that have the disc brake mount is very expensive also but thanks for all of your reply i really appreciate it
