Thinking about McCain's response to the Iran cigarette question, it reminds me so much of Bushy. To avoid actually answering a question from the press, he chooses to cut it off with a joke. I would prefer a president who's willing to answer questions.

This almost makes me fantasize about Obama telling dead baby jokes, just to see how people would react. In the same way I wouldn't care about that, I can't say I can get myself to care about McCain and this gorilla rape joke. Sure, it's not funny, but it's nothing to be mad over.

i guess people dont see the biasness of countdown. he should be ashamed of himself that he is pandering to obama. this was something he was against and thats why he started this show to go against oreilly and fox news for their pandering, but i guess he moved over to the dark side, and is becoming one of them. good job keith. ignore obama's gaffe, focus on mccain's gaffe, since thats what the american people are worried abou now, not high gas prices or national security but mccain making a joke

there are two problems with ure characterization.First of all u cannot get ure uncle and its wasnt obama's grandfather, but his maternal uncle,or his mom's uncle and second of all if u dont know the basic history in terms of WWII,which is aushwitz were liberated by the soviet union, that should be questioned by keith,if he thinks mccain confusing sunni/shia and making a joke about cigarretes should be questioned and obama's gaffe should be questioned,and keith chose not to and that is pandering

If you check the record it was Obama's Grandfather on his mothers side who helped to liberate one of the death camps. I believe the name of the camp is similar to Auswitz and that is where the confusion comes in but if you CHECK you will find that story to be completely TRUE/FACT!! People are just getting the name of the camp wrong!!
