The CCTV footage shown on tv clearly shows the victim being elbowed in the face by a friend of Gerrard. The victim lurches forward and, already in a dazed state, is further assaulted by Gerrard.
Gerrard got off because of his celebrity and the low moral character of the Liverpool jury.
Plus. Gerrard is a pussy who didn't have the balls to have a go before his victim was all but taken out for him.
In conclusion: Gerrard is a pussy thug: Liverpool is a shit hole.

you actually don't see nothing from the scene lol, but he probably participed to the rift, but i heard from people that the DJ was not so innocent too, even if it doesn't justify violence, he is said to have insulted him.
Sorry for those that say he must be at jail, but you don't go tu jail for one or too puches, he perhaps should be punish with community service or fine penalty, but no jail. Wayne Rooney was not sent to jail for the gay who he assault few years ago.
