As an EMT and a Ski Patroller I am saying to you that smaking the top of his helmat asking if he's ok = bad move. He appeared to be unresponsive at first and when he did start responding he had altered mental status that = head injury and possibly neck or back injury. If this happens again or you find someone like this the best thing you can do is keep the person calm, keep their head and neck from moving and make sure they don't roll around. Send someone else to contact ski patrol.

When something like this happens someone needs to keep his head and neck from moving and keep him calm. Send someone else to get the ski patrol. I am my self a ski patroler and an EMT. The worst thing you can do is move him or allow him to move. Just because he can move himself doesn't mean he's ok, he can still be doing damage to himself or he could possibly kill himself by moving wrong.

The goggles were around his neck due to the face skidding...just saying.

quick tip for the guy who filmed it - dont put him on his back next time, he kept trying to go on his side, thats where you want him unless he has a broken rib on both sides.

i do that most of the time, but once i tryed to break as hard as i could and i was going too hard for it, well yeah crashed into my buddies with about 40 mph, that hurt. I ended up like this guy

I'm obviously not a professional skier and was just out with some friends having a good time. Sorry I lack the talent it takes to ski! I'm far from brainless and I haven't been on skis since my accident. Your right! This is a prime example of what not to do and that is part of the reason I posted this vid. Don't think that makes me a prick though.
