that's exactly how you do it with those dachshounds! the sooner you get on your back, the more vicious the puppy luvin attack will be. watch that bladder though!

It's to help the puppy learn that potty is outside, and when it has to go, close to the door is a step closer to outside. When our mini doxie was a puppy, she had all of 2 accidents, and then just ran to the door when she had to go, we never really potty trained her. Now 6 years later, she'll stare at you and bark until you take her. haha!
