1977-78 Marina Cherkasova & Sergei Shakhrai - Rotated Quad twist and Triple Toeloops

Of all the competition footage I have seen, their quad twist attempts tend to be underrotated. Here is footage from a documentary that shows them doing what looks like a fully rotated quadruple twist at a competition in either 1977 or '78. Marina would have been 13 and Sergei 17 I believe. Incredible revolutionary moves for the era.

One of my all-time favorites... I can't even describe the disappointment I felt when I saw them all out of shape in 1981. By the way, totally off the topic, but the Soviet male skaters were so good-looking around that time--Kobalev, Minenkov, Shahrai, Karponosov, etc. were all hot!
