Been driving Chevy trucks since I was 14. All but one were plow trucks as well. Damn good truck! I also just got a 2011 Silverado 2500HD and so far seems pretty good. The person who wrote that it is quite & comfortable not like a real truck... Sorry but just because it's not sitting on milk crates & held together by baling wire doesn't reduce it's guts. Like I said Damn good trucks!

Yes they did skip some trucks, and their 3d work wasn't of the best quality work either. But the point being here is that Chevrolet make a damned good truck at least they did, never have i seen 80's ford 1/2 with 400k+ pull 6500lbs on the rear bumper at 60 mph, like my 80 did back in o4.

@sldl04 Yeah those were the last real GM trucks. not car-like wanna be trucks power everything and super quiet interiors. The current GM HD trucks are better than ever but i wouldn't spend $50-75 K for a diesel truck. no matter who builds it. too much to go wrong, so ill take and old 12 valve cummins with a P7100. slide the fuel plate and make 90HP for free. cant do that with a duraturd or powerstroke or 99 or newer cummins

@fischsnopro It doesn't matter what the companies say. its about the people buying.and thats FORD. GMC and Chevy dont outsell FORD. you dont need 400 hp in a 7500lb pickup. the real trucks in the big 3 line ups class 4-5 trucks are less powerful and last longer. Its all one uping and its annoying. As far as GM HD trucks, they just caught up with FORD after how many years??? Super Dutys havent changed much and are a beefed up 1980-1997 trucks. FORD IS BETTER 45 yrs in CAN and 36 or so in US
