Island Tour '98
- there was magic in the air as Phish returned to the Nassau Coliseum for the second night of the tour.
While much of the focus and legend from this show is on the amazing second set, the first set is awesome as well with beautiful moments thruout.
In the second set, the "Carini" incident at the end of "Loving Cup" sparks an incredible "Antelope" and the encores to follow.
- one quick video note: a microphone pole from a taper in the audience happens to line up with Trey's microphone from the camera's perspective. It doesn't really affect the viewing, and of course Trey moves around a lot :-)
a great evening of Phish. . . . .

It's awesome, sort of like how Jerry would just start a song without looking at his band or how Roger Waters would just start playing a riff and not even pay attention to anybody in the audience, it's awesome how casual Trey is :)
