  • never heared of the BU0836 before. I*m definetly going to check that one out when I build my KA-50 pit. Only downside it would not be able to read the state of LEDs from the Sim via LUA i guess. Recomendations on that anyone?

  • @DroehnIng I I will recomendate you to try Opencockpit cards for your LEDs lamps. There are already someone write a protocal to export LUA to SIOC(script language for open cockpit cards) and I have one LED output card of OC. You can get server motor/steepter morter card and 7 digital LCD display card from them too.

  • @DroehnIng You can find a testing video of landing gear display lamp in my videos. They are output from OC's output card and works very well.

One more thing: OC output card need a EXTRA +5V POWER SUPPLY to make leds to light, and you can use the extra +5V connector in BU0836. Very nice combination I can say.

  • to Renji123:

If you are trying MFD exporter in open falcon, the situation you described will be right when you using 2D cockpit mode. But if you use 3D cockpit mode ("3" key) with shared memory enable, the disply of MFD will keep display no matter where you pan your view. For this reason, most of MFD exporter users use 3D cockpit only.

  • The panel display area is 152.4mm (H) x 91.4mm (V), smaller than real MFD. I feel no much fps loss on this panel when I use Falcon MFD exporter and 3D proxy dll, maybe 5-7 I think.

  • this is awesome! youre making me jealous!

    :)

  • That is so nerdy, but I freaking want one...lol.

  • i've been meaning to ask. since you us the falcon MFD exporter, if you pan around the cockpit, your MFD will not show MFD export data, but rather, splices of the screen, right? or does it show your MFD export data no matter where your pan view around the cockpit is?

  • @johnnymclaneutah your words are my words, I wish I had the skillz!!! this video is full of WIN, considering FCU/MFD's like these cost from 400€ to 1000€

  • Oh man i wish i'd had skills to build all the panels and instruments for simulators!

  • what is the type of the screen is it USB connected LCD? or another where can we buy one?

    thx
