The whole III Sides phase reminds me of when Dream Theater went from Metropolis pt. II: Scenes from a Memory to Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence. One album simply a masterpiece, while the other got super experimental/ahead of it's time, yet, got overshadowed by the greatness of its predecessor.
AMAZING!! I remember listening to Pornograffitti just for the guitar work, especially his use of string-skipping tapped arpeggios. But I also remember how popular this album was during the early '90's ('91-'92). Then they followed with III Sides to Every Story. I recall not liking it as much b/c it wasn't Porno. But as I listen to it today, it was ahead of it's time in terms of song writing and arrangements/texturization.
They didn't sell because nobody knows they play that night! I've receive one email list of Boston events and there were nothing...I knew of the concert two hours later...what a pity...
That's a shame they can't even sellout their hometown. Such a talented band with so little respect from the masses. Well, f*** them. Us fans know how lucky we are.
i saw them a week prior in new haven...not sold out but screw it...i was there and it rocked...
