I think Joseph is very underrated, he deserves more credit.
He was no Django but he was certainly a good guitarist.
Its just that he lived in the shadow of his brother.

It's a bit like Jim and John Belushi. When John died Jim had to keep going, and though Jim tries to be funny he's no John. Joseph was an excellent player, but he's no Django.
