I was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Denomination for 12 years. But the more Ellen G White books I read and the more SDA Pastor sermons I heard and the more I spoke to SDA members, I came to realise that they teach and believe a false gospel based on works and obedience, and they have rejected grace:

Galatians 5:4 You who are trying to be justified by law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.

Seventh-day Adventist members will usually tell you that they do not believe their Sabbath works will save them, but they always come undone when you ask them certain questions, e.g. "Will you still be saved by faith and grace alone if you stop attending Church Service on Sabbath?", and "What did EGW teach will happen to Sunday keeping Christians? Can they be saved by faith and grace alone and still avoid the coming "Sunday Laws" Mark of the Beast?

Adventists do not like those kind of questions because their answers expose their legalism and their trust in the 10 Commandments and Sabbath Commandment to save them.

This is a plea to all the sincere Adventists to come out of Babylon (Legalism).

I am still a Sabbath keeping Christian and I love the 10 Commandments and God's Law and love obeying God, but unlike Seventh-day Adventist members, I no longer trust in my Sabbath works to save me. Since I resigned my Seventh-day Adventist Cult membership, I now completely trust in Jesus to save me and I am saved by faith and grace alone and justified by faith in Christ, not by my works.

Thank you Father God for rescuing me from this cult and deceptive gospel.

Amen.

  • NOBODY works can save you, its not through work which you are saved, the way of being save is through jesus... religion is not a way of god. who are to say who religion is the perfect way, its just the way we see the bible.. because you go to church on the sabbath or sunday wont determine you ticket to heaven, it is in the bible to keep the sabbath holy.. the jews dont believe in jesus does that mean thier religion is false.. who cares.. the big picture is god , give your heart to god. god bless

  • @TimmyBricks Hi Timmy, did you know that according to Ellen G White and Adventist Cult members that faith + Jesus cannot help you getting the Mark of the Beast and save you if you continue to sin (continue being a sinner and break the 10 Commandments) and unless you weekly attend Church Service on Saturdays? Were you aware off that?

    God bless.

  • @EvangelistEvan wrong sir, i dont put my life into ellen g white hands, i go by the bible . jesus lives through me so i know whats right and wrong.. i wasnt always a believer, so iknow for a fact that you dont have to become sinless befor you give your heart to god, i was disrespecting god, listening to demonic music, but my wonderful God had a better plan for me and he came to me and change me, works can not grant you a pass, only jesus THE END!

  • @TimmyBricks Ellen G White and Adventists do not agree with you. This is what Ellen said:

    "In order to let Jesus into our hearts, we must stop sinning." - {ST, March 3, 1890 par. 3}

"To be redeemed means to cease from sin." Review & Herald, Sept. 25, 1900.

"Human beings may in this life attain to perfection of character." Acts of the Apostles, p. 531.

If you claim those quotes are taken out of context, then reply to me and contexualise them for me.

    God bless.

  • @EvangelistEvan im not goin by ellen g white, i was a slight evil person, rebelious against God, but jesus still came in my heart and changed me , i thank jesus every other second for doin so.... doesnt even make sense the bible says, sin is so great that man alone cannot stop sinning himself, they you need jesus.. the waay your tryna expose people who really love jesus isnt jesus like, ill pray for you that jesus will fully live through you, God Bless...

  • @TimmyBricks Timmy, now please answer these questions honestly and directly, no sidestepping, no trying to change topics, just answer them honestly and directly:

    1. Have you perfectly stopped sinning for the rest of your life? Yes or No? If no, then why not seeing you indicate that you can stop sinning?

    2. Can you be accepted by God, inherit eternal life and be saved if you continue to be a sinner and continue to sin? Yes or No?

I await your answers. Thank you. God bless.

  • @BurritoBazooka I hope you and your family realise that Adventists do not believe you can be saved if you continue being a sinner and continue to sin. God's mercy, love and grace cannot save you UNLESS you first become sinless and keep the 10 Commandments.

"In order to let Jesus into our hearts, we must stop sinning." - {ST, March 3, 1890 par. 3} - EGW

Ask any SDA if you can be saved if you continue to sin and break the 10 Commandments and you will see their false gospel!

  • @EvangelistEvan I'll be sure to take the things you have opened up with, in account when I make my decisions relating to this subject. Much appreciated, certainly.

  • @EvangelistEvan [...] 2. Yes, basically. I believe so. But in order to be saved, one of the steps is to recognise that they are sinners and they are flawed beings, and that there is a way to grace and to be saved. Even the saved are sinners.

The above two answers are not from a seventh day adventist.. I've only just found out in detail about them. That is what I personally believe.

  • @BurritoBazooka I hope they realise that as an Adventist they will be trusting in 196 books to be their Guide, 66 books from Scripture + 130 books written by Ellen G White. Much in the EGW 130 books contradict Scripture, so as Adventists you are required to trust in her books BEFORE the Scripture. And I was always able to prove that by asking them this:

According to EGW, can a Christian be saved by faith + grace alone if they continue to sin and be a sinner?
