Carl White is one of the finest baritone, 2nd tenor voices ever in r and b. He also does Here s My Heart, with the Sharps. Check it out. Im Bruce Mineo. My Brucevob on You Tube are 4 of my acapella songs, recorded in 2010. Carl White is my vocal hero.I did Chain Gang with Carl in mind.

The lead is Carl White. A great, great, great soulful lead in all the various groups he sang with.

Thanks very much for this. I was surfing the iTunes store today and came across the Rivingtons. I remembered hearing something that you had put up a while ago, and checked out a few of their tunes. (Of course I knew Papa-Oom-Mow-Mow and a couple of other things.) Anyway, I heard "Cherry" and flipped. Great stuff, which of course I bought. Then I checked back to see what you had posted, and saw that you -- of course -- had mentioned Cherry. Thanks man, it was a good way to find a new tune.

Yeah you're probably right. I think Eugene Pitt sang with the Jive Five now that I think about it. Great tune just the same and thank you.

Agreed, wholeheartedly!
Another winner there P.J. I had not heard it before but I recognize the voice. Eugene Pitt? Very nice.

Chances are this isn't Eugene.. He's from Brooklyn and The Rivingtons are from Los Angeles. I'm pretty sure this is Carl White on lead
