Here's where I went after visiting Belt Crossing. Most of you are familiar with NERSKA by now.

10:26AM-
The IC&E may not be around anymore, but their trains still run on the BRC. One of their ethanol trains ran South on the BRC yesterday with the same power. The CP SD40-2 with Candy Stripes and the Pac-Man logo leads the light power back towards Bensenville.

10:56AM-
Amtrak 301 is the first Northbound Lincoln Service to roll into Chicago packed with college kids. The equipment is actually part of a Michigan Service set.

This hot UP intermodal traversed off the Geneva Subdivision North of here and is bound for Clearing.

11:06AM-
This power set is being shuttled from Cicero Yard to Corwith. The power then reverses onto the connector leading to the Chillicothe. Most of these units will take hot Z-trains down the Chillicothe Subdivision.

  • that BNSF GP39E is common on the BNSF, but not on power moves. In fact, that unit was one of several experimental patch jobs for BNSF. pretty sure that was the one you were talking about.

  • I saw a fake bluebonnet Geep once, same type of paint scheme.

  • Great video! Seems like you get all kinds of railroads through there. You got a lot of nice crews! Doesn't the Lincoln service usually have 4 to 5 cars and only 1 locomotive? That must of been a treat to see.

  • Nice!

  • @BoxcarFrank are you talking about the BNSF green and black unit with the round logo in white on the front and a yellow and blue version too? If so what happened to the yellow and blue one? I swear i saw one from a block away in the 90's the BNSF yellow and blue was pacing another train same direction and the most perfect kodak moment i've seen had i been at the tracks at the depot it would have been perfect. I shot the BNSF green one a few years ago. there's two of them in existence.

  • @BoxcarFrank u mean 2472?

  • Take a pill, oh there it is! Sweet Catch!

  • i love that Ex-burlington Northern @ 5:53

  • your lucky you still see CP GP series locos in the USA.... here in canada, specifically calgary (cp's HQ) you rarely see them... all you se are their stupid GE locos, and if you do happen to see a GP loco, its usually not in Pacman Cprail livery, but instead the "two flag cp livery" it sucks

  • nice

  • That BNSF 2911 paint scheme has to be a one of a kind. Wow that was a long center beam train!

  • That sure is a complex signal bridge at the beginning of the vid
