I stay in Gainesville, Fla., and I can tell you all right now that Islam is no more dangerous than Christianity!!! This I say as a man who was raised in a Christian household. You ever want to know true Muslims and their compassion, what they believe in, come here to the home of the Mighty Florida Gators and you'll see beautiful people who WORSHIP GOD. Muslims who love you more than you obviously love them. God bless.........

@45below1 Please understand that Christians and muslims do not worship the same 'god'. The God of the Bible is the ONLY god that anyone should worship, not the god of the koran, whom I believe for dozens of reasons is none other than satan himself pretending to be the 'god' he has desired to be since the beginning of time. Please don't confuse the two. "There shall be no other 'gods' before Me" Exodus 20:3. Also read 1 Samuel 26:19

This is a great effort, however, they are rehashing the stuff we know about muslims who are against the west. I wanted to see normal muslim families (which are present and numerous) who do not have an issue mixing their religion & western cluture. There are many of these people but are scared of the radicals just as you and I are. I wanted to hear their voice as the title suggested.

DefSufi: I have to agree, for a film about moderate Muslims, there sure are are a lot of extremist in this film. So frankly I can see why PBS refused to air it, it doesn't give the voice to the supposed moderates it claims to represent. Instead it gives them an excuse to be silent, and doesn't even try to explore the conflict between religion & culture. Thus, it isn't on par with the stuff PBS usually airs and I'm glad it was rejected.

@panathinakosbear No need to tell you anything that isn't real; Moreover, Islam is a society. That's what it means to be Islamic, just as most Jews (race) are Jewish (in faith). Yes, Arabs are mostly Islamic, but the two aren't the same when not Muslim ( Arab Jews, or Arab Christians, or Arab Buddhists). This is truth, Not falsified propaganda or rhetoric. Maybe you should concentrate on bleeding yourself of subjectivity, and learn to care for ALL of humanity - stupidity is a choice. God bless

@panathinakosbear Actually it is, do your homework. Now as far as you proclaiming that I've negligent regards for men...Your words not mine. Christianity kills as well, but the fact is that Christianity doesn't kill, it's those who claim to be Christians and the same goes for Islam and the Jewish faith. The difference is that when a Christian or Jew does something degradable we claim that he or she isn't a true Christian or Jew -- Yet we're remiss when it comes to Muslims -- which is BIGOTRY!

@45below1 First off no Islam is not a race. Arabs are a race. Moderate Islam is not harmful to us but RADICAL Islam IS, and that's something you apologists seem to forget. Radical Islam IS AT WAR WITH US, they are at war with Democracy, free speech, and the western way of life, and those are THEIR WORDS, NOT MINE. The bible killed thousands years and years ago, Islam is killing millions TODAY. And what's with "numerous women and children"? What, are men somehow less valuable to you?

@panathinakosbear Islam is also a race and culture. It is no more harmful to our society than Christianity. I speak on such matters because I am an avid Bible reader - meaning every day - page by page - and believe me when I tell you there's more blood in the Bible than every could be in the Koran. The only way to truly rationalize this would be to say, "In those times war was a way of life." Numerous women and children lost their lives in the Bible because of dissimilar beliefs.

Islam is both religious and political, it is not the same as other religions. It is an ideology, it is spreading, and it is dangerous.
