Boil the whole milk in a non-stick pot and let it cool. Mix small amount of store bought yogurt or yogurt made previously at home with sour cream. Add the mixture to the cooled milk and cover the container with thick worm towel. Wait for twenty four hours. The yogurt will be ready then. Store your yogurt in the refrigerator. Enjoy! Yogurt contains probiotics (acidophilus and the like) that are good for intestinal microflora and digestive tract. Yogurt also helps heel fungus in the body.

  • can you use goats milk instead of cows milk?

  • @geoffdundee It is worth to try! Milk is milk.

  • why do we need to add sour cream to your recipe?

  • @toebbby99 You don't have to add sour cream, I only did it to make the yogurt smoother and sweeter, but, I have made yogurt without sour cream, just adding some plain yogurt to convert the milk into yogurt. It is just a personal choice.

  • Wow my kids are gonna LOVE this. I hate all the junk that is in our food now. Great vid.

  • @TIGGERCOOKIES Thank you! Just a tip; it is better to use plastic containers than the glass ones, since the plastic releases heat slowly, letting the yogurt become thicker than in glass container.

  • If you use semi skimmed milk you get a thinner yoghurt

  • @chanchiem i saw another vid on here where the guy didnt like it thick so he just used 2% . it looked like Yoplait when he was done.

  • @BeautyHealthTravel ok intervesting i didn't mean to sound rude its just that i seen many videos where people make things with the same ingredient such as making horchata with horcahata.
