he tried to wire climb with his feet, but wasnt able to, so he used his weight to get closer to the ground by going towards the end of the branch, using 3 points of contact climbing with his mouth.
then when he heard the branch beginning to snap he lowered himself by his arms, so he only fell 2-3 feet.
