@kdwildman Air France Flight 296 was a chartered flight of an Airbus A320 . On June 26, 1988. it was scheduled to fly low over Mulhouse-Habsheim Airport. it crashed into the tops of trees beyond the runway. The 2 pilots on board survived. 3 passengers died. Cause of the accident is disputed . The common misconception of Air France 296 being an unmanned plane flown by a computer was created after TLC released a show without researching the crash appropriately . It certainly was a manned flight

@kdwildman Thank you, This plane was UNmanned and flown by computer
-
@kdwildman 130 passengers 2 pilots & 4 other crew on board. google air france 296 or habsheim crash for details or check the videos on my profile
-
No tail numbers on the airplane, obviously not a commercial flight with passengers.
-
@eddiebruv Listen bruv, it was an unmanned test flight, UAVs have been around since WW1, google it you moron.
-
@PhantomDog666 Not another idiot. It was manned. What would be the point of flying it with no one on board anyway? It would never go into service like that. People who think that it was unmanned can't even look stuff up on the internet properly.
-
@eddiebruv Nope, no pilot, was unmanned and flown by computer, its a well documented case.
-
Didn't the pilot get jailed for this?
It's amazing anyone at all survived by the look of it.
