  • I would kill for an aquarium of those things.

  • Freaky. All of life's greatest oddities and dead ends . . .

  • @StormsfuryDOTcom naturally. i want to point out one thing. we'll never know it completely sure. i am just saying the opabinia's appendage isn't created in line with fossil record. do you try to say that following fossil record would be wrong this time, and when an animal has fins, do you think it would move in such kind of way it couldn't/didn't have to use them? this is nothing more than common sense. ;-) i am not blaming anyone, i am just sharing my observations ;-)

  • @stuchly1 true..but to believe all these things as "fact" is a little niave too. The scientist are quite honest about having to be "imaginative" and "creative" as there is still not enough evidence to support the fuil science of this time. So creativity to a point is acceptable. hell going forward in time people are still debating things like the t-rex. I think you will find many of these "facts" being ammended over time.

  • I was worried you were going to leave out Anomalocaris. I'm glad you got it in there. :) Nice video!

  • i would only point out that the opabinia's appendage opened laterally, rather than dorsoventrally (it should be rotated 90 degree) and with lateral "fins", i highly doubt it would move like that. the sinusoid movement of them was actually how it would rather propel itself through water, just think about it, when undulating sideways it would have too little surface to push against water and would be a sluggish swimmer, an easy prey. to want to be original at all costs is not the best thing always

  • @elazar79 It is not God vs. anyone, it is Science proves the bible wrong again.

  • C'est une jolie animation!

    Merci Romain..
