A recording of Roger Chapman and the Shortlist performing live at the Cannizaro festival on July 6th, 2010. The number they're playing is a medley of Roger's song 'He Was, She Was' and the blues number '16 Tons'.

I've written a blog about my experience of the gig - see:

  • I don't think Chappo needs to stop yet - I think he;s like some of the black blues singers who influenced him - they carried on til a ripe old age. I've also had a 90 year old irish folk singer on my local radio show. Re the previous question - this performance is a medley of two songs - "He was, she was' from Roger's solo career, and 16 tons which is an old blues number.

  • You did a great job ! Hope you have more to edit !!

    Love from Holland

  • @Chappomusic thanks! I do also have a few snippets from the Y in Leicester - will post once I get down to editing them together.

  • Thanks for the feedback - spent a bit of time today editing this so good to know my efforts are appreciated!
