This is the first time I'd ever heard of a Y-CHI107. I'm guessing it's an intermodal transfer that originated in Corwith or Willow Springs bound for Logistics Park.

BNSF ES44AC #6176
BNSF SD60M #8171 (Ex. BN)
BNSF GP38-2 #2356 (Ex. BN)

BNSF Chillicothe Subdivision.

Filmed on 8-13-08.

  • I knew that there was a "Y" / "L" train that goes from WSP to LPC, but I have never seen it in person. Nice catch Frank!!!

  • I knew theres a Y-LPC0031 train that heads East to Chi-town but I never knew that the transfers between Chicago and LPC went by this symbol.

  • Cool. Love seeing the BN green.

  • I always love seeing old BN/ATSF power. Even if it isn't on the point.

  • lol, they climbed ontop of ur car.

  • Oh. Yeah, that is weird. It is weird enough that the BNSf would call any Z-train a Yard local anyway. hah.
