  • Hey Dr. Mercola, thanks for all the great information. I've learned a lot from your videos, and purchased a few of your products. I drink your protein shake 30 minutes before my workout, and then I eat eggs with cheese 30 minutes after. I just have a quick question. Is the cheese causing any negative effects on muscle growth? Also, would I be better off mixing my eggs with a salad? (onions, cucumbers etc). The cheese has pasteurized milk, cheese culture, salt, enzymes and annatto. (isn't good)

  • @onsaphi Better to have the whey protein 30 minutes before and after your exercise and the eggs three hours later as they are slow assimilating proteins and will not supply the fuel at the right time. The whey does that far better. Only really necessary though on your strength trainign days.

  • Your mom's posture is impressive, she looks so good.

I'm deeply inspired by this story. My grandmother is 82 and has never exercised, she's starting to feel old and it's not like her, she's got crazy great genetics so I'll encourage her to do some weight training. She loves to walk. :)

  • great info and what a lucky lady

  • She did great! Tell her we said hello and thanks for doing a video for us.

  • Love this. Wish my mom could start strength training too.
