Too expensive in comparision to the other cases you can get. In my opinion protecting the corners is one of the most important things it should do. That thing is only good for preventing scratches.

Check my channel, there is a video showing it being done (September 11 2007 called 'Geekanoids Laser Etched MacBook Pro'). It was done by a company called Razorlab.
